Northern Central Railway of York

The Northern Central Railway of York operates scenic excursion trains through the rolling farmland and wooded valleys of southern York County, Pennsylvania, following the historic Northern Central Railway corridor that once carried Abraham Lincoln through the region on his way to deliver the Gettysburg Address in November 1863. Departing from the New Freedom station, the railroad runs diesel-powered passenger excursions through classic Pennsylvania Dutch Country scenery, with riders enjoying views of farm fields, small towns, and the Ma & Pa Railroad’s beautiful southern Pennsylvania landscape.
