Branson Scenic Railway

The Branson Scenic Railway offers a relaxing and picturesque round-trip journey through the scenic Ozark Mountains and river valleys of the Missouri and Arkansas border region, departing from the heart of the famous Branson, Missouri, entertainment district. Vintage 1940s and 1950s passenger coaches pulled by classic diesel locomotives make a 40-mile, 80-minute round-trip excursion through forested Ozark terrain, crossing high trestles over the White River and its tributaries and passing through dramatic cuts in the ancient Ozark limestone plateau. The train winds through wilderness accessible only by rail, offering exceptional views of rugged bluffs, clear mountain streams, and dense hardwood forest ablaze with color during the fall foliage season. Multiple classes of seating are available, including dome car and first-class coach options for premium views of the spectacular surrounding landscape. The railroad operates seasonal excursions from spring through fall, with special themed trips including fall foliage trains and other event excursions.
